Trey Brackman, L.Ac.

Acupuncturist & Bellevue Clinic Director

When your mother beats cancer with the help of acupuncture, it’s easy to become a believer in the healing power of the practice. That’s what happened when Trey saw his mother successfully treat her cancer with the help of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and a macrobiotic diet for treatment.

But Trey got hooked on acupuncture even before that. While studying kung fu with the owner of an acupuncture clinic, he decided to try a treatment. And it helped him relax unlike anything else. It wasn’t long before he wanted to know what it would take to become an acupuncturist.

In 2003, Trey earned his Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine. He’s been a licensed acupuncturist for 15 years – seven of those with Encircle Acupuncture. And now, he is the clinic director for Encircle’s Bellevue location.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, Trey remodeled houses, built custom cabinets and furniture and raced go karts, which is the closest he came to his childhood dream of being a race car driver. Now, Trey loves helping patients achieve a higher quality of life through acupuncture.

Trey and his wife, Jenny, have been married for 23 years. They have two sons and a daughter and two small dogs.

When he’s not treating patients, Trey loves practicing Tai Chi (our patients may have even seen him practice in our lobby). He also enjoys reading, forging knives, camping, movies and sitting in the driveway with the neighbors to watch the kids play basketball.
