This is such a difficult time for our community. Many families and businesses are still recovering from the tornadoes that tore through Middle Tennessee just two weeks ago, and now we’re seeing an exponential increase in COVID-19 cases in Tennessee and beyond.
To do our part in protecting everyone around us, we’ve decided to close our clinics for two weeks starting Monday, March 23rd. It’s heartbreaking to shut our doors to the people who need and benefit from acupuncture, but we feel that it’s the responsible thing to do.
One of our core values here at Encircle is to create a safe and inviting space for all. Our existing practices and procedures have ensured the safe delivery of acupuncture in our community setting for thousands of patients over the years. But these are extraordinary times, and as health practitioners our first commitment is to do no harm. Experts agree that the best way to contain the spread of COVID-19 is by engaging in extreme social distancing, so we are doing our part to reduce the risk of disease transmission to our patients, staff, and everyone in our community.
If you have an appointment scheduled during our planned closure, it will be canceled. We’ll continue to assess the situation and notify you of any changes to our timeline, and for the latest news please check our Facebook and Instagram feeds. We’ll be posting about some of our favorite self-care suggestions and ways we’re all staying healthy during this time.
There’s nothing we’d rather be doing than serving you a hot cup of tea, covering you up with an extra blanket, and letting those tiny needles do their magic. We’ll miss you terribly during this time. It’s always been our mission to make acupuncture accessible to everyone, and we look forward to getting back to our jobs very soon.
Sincerely,
The Encircle Acupuncture Staff
