Does acupuncture hurt?
Most people are surprised by how gentle acupuncture feels.
The needles are extremely thin — much thinner than those used for injections or blood draws.
You may feel mild sensations like warmth, tingling, heaviness, or a dull ache, but treatments are generally very relaxing.
