Reclaiming Self-Love Rituals in the American Void

In a fast-paced world, self-care often becomes another task to manage. This workshop offers a different approach—one rooted in ritual, presence, and care for the body.
Join Licensed Acupuncturist Teri Cook for an evening of teaching and hands-on practice designed to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and overall balance.
What to Expect
Herbal Foot Soak
You’ll experience a guided foot bath using rosemary, lavender, and ginger—combined with hot water and epsom salt to open the pores, stimulate circulation, and support the lymphatic system.
Dry Brushing Instruction
After soaking, you’ll learn simple dry brushing techniques to encourage movement of lymph and support the body’s natural detoxification processes.
Teaching + Context
Teri will share how foot bathing has been used across cultures as a ritual of cleansing and renewal, and how these simple practices can be integrated into modern life.
The Herbs We'll Use
Ginger – supports circulation and warming movement in the body
Lavender – calming to the nervous system and supportive to overall balance
Rosemary – promotes circulation and mental clarity

About Teri Cook, L.Ac.
A graduate of Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California, Teri brings two decades of clinical experience to the Encircle team. She loves collaborating with her fellow acupuncturists at Encircle, and also sees patients at a private practice in Mount Juliet.
Teri is passionate about women's health and loves supporting women through all stages of life with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her favorite parts of the day at Encircle are hearing success stories, and seeing people float out the door after their treatments.

Immerse yourself in a rejuvenating journey at our Acupuncture + Sound Bath event, where the ancient healing arts of acupuncture and sound therapy come together for a deeply restorative experience.
Participants will be invited to lie down comfortably in a recliner as our acupuncturist gently places fine needles at key points to enhance relaxation and facilitate energy flow. Meanwhile, the enchanting sounds of crystal bowls, gongs, and nature-inspired instruments will envelop the room, creating a harmonious atmosphere that promotes deep meditation and inner peace.
Each Acupuncture + Sound Bath will correlate with the Season & Element according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Calendar. Sessions will also include a small stone for you to have with you during the session, and then to take home afterwards. These stones are connected with the Seasons & Elements as used in Daoist Stone Medicine.
This unique combination of acupuncture, sound therapy and Daoist stone medicine aims to release blockages, reduce stress, and elevate your spirit. Join us for this transformative experience, and leave feeling renewed, centered, and deeply connected to yourself.
